Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a regenerative control device capable of recovering kinetic energy, with an increased recovery rate, accumulated in a vessel body while a vessel is propelled when the vessel is decelerated or stopped.SOLUTION: An electric propulsion device EP of a vessel comprises: a propulsion electric motor M which drives a propulsion machine PR of the vessel; a power converter INV which controls electric power supplied to the propulsion motor; and speed adjustment means ASR which controls the power converter so that a rotational speed of the propulsion electric motor coincides with propulsion electric motor speed instruction to be given from an external source. The electric propulsion device EP is provided with a speed reduction instruction signal during regenerative deceleration, as a speed instruction signal, generated on the basis of a vessel speed detected by a vessel speed sensor SS.
