Title:
REGENERATIVE CONTROLLER FOR ELECTRIC MOTOR VEHICLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3503195
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a regenerative controller for an electric motor vehicle in which the deterioration of a battery life is reduced and the decrease of the discharge capacity of an assembled battery can be supplemented.
CONSTITUTION: A regenerative controller for an electric motor vehicle comprises an assembled battery 8 having a plurality of secondary cells connected in series, regenerative charge means (motor 10, inverter 11 and a controller 9) for charging the battery by regenerative generating at the time of decelerating the vehicle, a voltage sensor 6 for detecting the voltages of the cells for forming the battery 8, and a control unit 9 for detecting the maximum width of the unevenness of the voltages of the cells at the time of charging based on the detected result of the sensor 6, i.e., a difference between the voltage value of the cell having highest voltage and the voltage value of the cell having lowest voltage to vary the regenerative amount of the regenerative charge means in response to the maximum width.
