Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve temperature fluctuation and temperature control while enhancing thermal efficiency by employing a regenerative burner capable of highly efficient heating, and a gas preheater for fluidization.
SOLUTION: A refractory container 12 in a furnace body 11 is filled with a fluid substance, e.g. quartz sand, to provide a fluidized bed 13 into which a material M to be heated is thrown in. A fluidizing gas is fed from a fluidizing gas supply 16 into the refractory container 12 through a circulation supply path 17 and the material M to be heated in the fluidized bed 13 is heated indirectly through the refractory container 12 by burning first and second regenerative burners 19, 20 alternately. In this regard, a fluidizing gas supply circulation means 15 circulates the fluidizing gas through the circulation supply path 17 and the refractory container 12 by means of a fluidizing blower 18.
