To provide a regenerative power controller of a hybrid vehicle, in which stabilized regenerative brake force can be obtained at all times by ensuring apparatus being supplied with surplus power that is not charged to a battery, as much as possible, during deceleration of the vehicle.
The regenerative power controller of a hybrid vehicle comprising a generator/motor 40 operating as a motor, i.e. a traveling drive source other than an internal combustion engine 16, and being driven with power from a battery 70 to operate as a generator during deceleration of a vehicle to generate regenerative power, a means 100 of controlling the generator/motor 40, and a plurality of electrical apparatus 87 and 90 is further provided with a means 71 of detecting the charged state of the battery 70, and means 88 and 91 for detecting the state change of the plurality of electrical apparatus 87 and 90. The control means 100 monitors the charged state of the battery 70, detected by the battery charged state-detecting means 71 and selectively supplies power regenerated at the time of braking the vehicle to any one of the plurality of electrical apparatus 87 and 90, depending on the state change detected by each state-change detecting means 88, 91.
