Abstract:

PURPOSE: To remove leakage loss and carry over loss and to improve efficiency by forming a continuous pass that reintroduces a working fluid to blades at the position of peripheral direction continuously separated from the rotation direction of impeller.

CONSTITUTION: A regenerative turbomachine is composed of impeller 1 having blades 2, an inlet port 4 and outlet port 5 are arranged in a housing 3 surrounding the impellers 1. A working fluid comes from the inlet port 4 to the housing 3 at injection angle A, at this time, the working fluid passes through blades 2 toward radial direction, and is guided by a plurality of guide blades 7 to a plurality of expansion paths 1/DS, 1/DC, 2/DC. And then, the working fluid is further guided to the blades 2 again at the position of pass 2/IS that is separated from the inlet port 4 to slip direction, such pass is repeated and the fluid is last released out through the outlet port 5.
