PURPOSE: To provide a small registered article retrieval system which can directly recognize the presence of a registered article by directly using the senses of a user and which is considerably simple.

CONSTITUTION: The registered articel retrieval system is provided with a code allocation means 24 allocating a code to the registered article, a registered article call device 21 having an originator 31 originating a radio wave corresponding to the code allocated to the designated and desired registered article, a reception device receiving the radio wave which the registered article call device 21 originates and a registered article corresponding device 26 having a speaker informing the user of the registered article call device 21 of the code when the received code is that allocated to a self device. Thus, the position of the registered article is directly given to the senses of the user and the registered article can immediately be detected.
