Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a regulating device of a carding machine capable of producing a needle felt having a further uniform quality by automatizing the production of a web for the needle felt.
SOLUTION: This regulating device for a carding machine is provided by installing a weighing device 24 of weighing the weight of a web at a run out conveyer 5 for conveying the web produced by a carding machine 4 for producing the web for a needle felt to a wrapper installed for sending the web to the next process, continuously weighing the weight of the web passing on a receiving plate 23 of the weighing device 24 in a high accuracy for continuously measuring the unit weight of the web 11 and regulating the operating amount of the carding machine based on the measured amount. By continuously measuring the unit weight of the web and accordingly regulating the operating amount of the carding machine, it is possible to stabilize the quality of the web and improve the accuracy of the value of the unit weight measurement.
