Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a rate of combustion in a fluidized bed to be an arbitrary value.
SOLUTION: A temperature in a sand layer (fluidized bed) 2 is measured as a sand layer temperature, while a temperature in a free board 15 formed in an in-furnace space above the fluidized bed 2 is measured as a free board temperature. In the case when a difference between the measured temperatures obtained by subtracting the sand layer temperature from the free board temperature becomes larger than a set value, fluidized sand is supplied to a sand circulating system 18 from a sand supply system 18a, so as to increase the quantity of the fluidized sand flowing in the sand layer (fluidized bed) 2.
