To enable shift of a leg to be rehabilitated with a patient on a bed, by fitting a driving device for driving a splint in a width direction of a rehabilitation device for legs so that the positions can be changed.
A rehabilitation device for legs is provided with a bed 3 fixed on the surface of a trestle and a driving device 4 fitted so that the positions can be changed from right to left. A patient to be rehabilitated lies on a bed 3, the thighs and the cruses are bound tightly by splints 5. A splint 5 is connected to the driving device 4, the driving device 4 executes operations of bending and stretching the knee joints and the hip joints according to a predetermined program stored in a control device. When a leg to be rehabilitated is shifted from a right leg to a left leg, at first, the splint 5 is removed from the patient's left leg and the driving device 4 is folded. Then, a footrest 6 is moved to the left leg side, and the left leg is put on the footrest 6. Finally, a handle 10 is turned to move the driving device 4 to the right leg side, the driving device 4 is lifted up, and the right leg is fixed on the splint 5.
