To provide a method enabling rehabilitation of a patient having contracture of articulation easily without causing an unreasonable condition and requiring special force of the patient and caretaker.
The operation for applying a substantially cylindrical bag having a length of 5 cm or more and a diameter of 3 to 45 cm when it is inflated to an affected part of the articulation, increasing pneumatic pressure to inflate the bag, and then letting the air out of the bag quickly is repeated several times. The bag is connected with an air pump for inflating it. Preferably, the bag is controlled in such a way that pneumatic pressure is increased up to 60 to 10 kilopascal, the bag is inflated, and then pneumatic pressure is quickly reduced to shrivel the bag.
