To provide a reinforceable glass article having a negative relative variation coefficient of length caused by heat; and to provide a production method of a glass article.SOLUTION: A reinforceable glass article, which is a reinforceable glass article having a thickness below 100 μm, has a cooling state where a relative variation coefficient of length caused by heat shown by the glass article after chemically reinforcing up to 30% depth xc of the thickness of the glass article, is in the range of -1500 ppm to ≤0 ppm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
