The reinforcement arrangement structure of a reinforced concrete column has a square outer peripheral reinforcement 14 surrounding a plurality of column main reinforcements 12 arranged along an outer periphery of a rectangular reinforced concrete column 10 and an octagonal core reinforcement 16 surrounding the column main reinforcements 12c with four sides except the column main reinforcements 12a of corner parts and the column main reinforcements 12b near the corner parts out of the column main reinforcements 12. The column main reinforcements 12c with four sides surrounded by the core reinforcement 16 are arranged closer to the inside of the column than the column main reinforcements 12a of the corner parts and the column main reinforcements 12b near the corner parts to arrange the outer peripheral reinforcement 14 and the core reinforcement 16 at the same height level while avoiding interference by the outer peripheral reinforcement 14 and the core reinforcement 16.
