This reinforcement binding machine has a curl guide for curling a binding wire delivered from a wire reel and delivering the curled binding wire downward, and a lower curl guide 10 receiving the wire and guiding it again to the curl guide above. The curl guide and the lower curl guide 10 are arranged projecting from the front end of a binding machine body, and a base of the lower curl guide 10 is provided in an opening 14 formed at the lower part of the binding machine body, so as to be turnable downward through a support shaft 15. A cover part 27 for always closing the clearance between the base of the lower curl guide 10 and an upper face 16 of the opening 14 is formed between the lower curl guide 10 and the upper face of the opening 14.
