Title:
REINFORCEMENT FOR RESIN PIPELINE JOINT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH07217783
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To facilitate the attachment of a pipeline joint even in a narrow space and to reduce the load exerted to a thread part of the attached joint so as to prevent leakage of a chemical liquid.

CONSTITUTION: A pipe joint is composed of bi-split semicylindrical members 6a, 6b having contact parts for holding a stationary side male thread joint part 2 having a rigidity and a holding part for supporting and holding a flexible pipe 1 adapted to be connected to a stationary side pipeline hooks 8a, 8b which can be easily removed, and anchoring mechanisms for protrusions 9a, 9b, and accordingly, a bending force exerted to the thread part of the joint is reduced so that it is possible to eliminate loosening of the thread part, and nonuniform contact of a seal member. Further, the pipe joint can be connected in a condition in which the reinforcement 6 is removed.
