To provide a reinforcement structure for a permeable erosion control dam, which can easily applied to a permeable erosion control dam constituted by steel columns regardless of whether the reinforcement structure is newly provided or already existing.
The reinforcement structure 11 is mainly composed of a vertical member 16 made of circular steel pipes; a shock absorbing member 21 covering a part of an upstream side (a left side in the figure) of the vertical member 16, and having a U-shape in a plane view made from an elastic body 22 and a steel plate 23 buried in the elastic body 22; and a fixing member 31 installed on a downstream side (a right side of the figure) of the vertical member 16 corresponding to the shock absorbing member 21, and coupling to both end portions of the shock absorbing member 21. A space between the shock absorbing member 21 and the vertical member 16 is filled with a stuffing material 44 made from resin and aggregate, and the shock absorbing member 21 is stuck to the vertical member 16 through the stuffing material 44. In the reinforcement structure 11, the vertical member 16 is installed so as to be put between the shock absorbing member 21 and the fixing member 31. Therefore, the permeable erosion control dam can be easily installed even to the vertical member 16 and the like of the existing steel columns.
