In a roof part 2 of a pitched roof 1, ascending beams 10 and purlins 11 are abolished, a plurality of wooden rafters 13 are bridged between a plurality of wooden horizontal members 12 arranged at intervals in a slope direction, at intervals in a ridge direction, a plurality of steel reinforcement materials 14 are bridged so as to be alongside the wooden rafters 13, the wooden rafters 13 and the steel reinforcement materials 14 are connected to each other, and the steel reinforcement materials 14 are clamped to the wooden horizontal members 12 via joint metal fittings 20.
