To provide a reinforcement structure for a rear bumper cover capable of enhancing the rigidity of a lower end part which is in a free state at a corner part without providing rapid shape variation such as of a character.
In the reinforcement structure for the rear bumper cover 1, rigidity of the rear bumper cover 1 is compensated by a reinforcement member 2. The rear bumper cover 1 has a bumper rear side part; and a bumper side part 12 bent from left and right end parts of the bumper rear side toward a front side. In a corner part 13 in a curved surface between the bumper side part 12 and the bumper rear side, the upper end part 103 is fixed to a body 5 of the vehicle, whereas the lower end part 104 is in the free state. A cross section in a vertical direction H of the bumper rear part and the bumper side part 12 has a shape that the curved surface part 15 bent to an inner side of the vehicle in the curved surface below a straight part 14 stretched in an approximately vertical direction. A reinforcement member 2 is stuck on an inner side surface 101 of the curved surface part 15 on the corner part 13 by an adhesive 3.
