This reinforcing bar bending apparatus includes a bending angle setting means 20 for setting the bending angle of a reinforcing bar based on the turning operation of a force point part by an inverter motor; a database 25 having beforehand turning stop command position information to the force point part based on input information of a first input means 21 capable of inputting the diameter of the reinforcing bar, a second input means 22 capable of inputting the material of the reinforcing bar, a third input means 23 capable of inputting the diameter of a fulcrum part, and a fourth input means 24 capable of inputting the number of reinforcing bars to be bent simultaneously; and a control device for taking out the turning stop command position information of the force point part from the database 25 based on input signals of the first, second, third and fourth input means 21, 22, 23, 24 and giving operation instructions to the inverter motor.
