Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the title covering material good in workability in handling objects with sharp edges, causing no debonding even on sweating by bonding a specific reinforcing material to sweat-absorbing fabric over the range from respective finger parts to the palm area.

CONSTITUTION: The finger parts 3-7 of a glove and inside of the palm area 2 is formed using sweat-absorbing, monolithic fabric (pref. knit fabric), and (A) a tape-like reinforcing material 8 prepared by holding metallic chains between two sheets of netty cloth tape followed by knitting to set the chains is bonded to (B) the fabric through an adhesive like rubber cement over the range from the respective finger parts 3-7 to the base of the palm area 2, thus obtaining the objective covering material.
