To provide a reinforcing member not largely affected by the performances such as the bending strength of column structural members and the strength of fixed portions, having excellent reinforcing effect against the deformation of a column structural member when a vibration and swing applied to a building particularly in a skeleton structure and a recovering force for suppressing deformation and recovering the members to a normal position, and developing the effect of enhancing the durability of the members.
This reinforcing member for reinforcing the connection between structural members by installing it between the column structural member and the other structural member of a building or a structure comprises a plurality of plate metal members capable of absorbing compression force and extension force applied to the connection between the structural members. A space part is formed between the plate metal members. Both ends of the plate metal members are fixable to the structural members. A plurality of auxiliary metal members of different shapes combined with each other by connecting to the plate metal members are installed in the space part formed by the plate metal members.
