Abstract:
To provide a reinforcement member which can improve strength of a cover which covers a side part of a seat cushion of a vehicle seat, and a vehicle seat comprising the same.SOLUTION: A reinforcement member 5 comprises a body part (bottom surface part 50, first side part 81, and second side part 82) which has a lock part (lock claw 510 and lock claw 511, lock claw 56 and lock claw 57) locked to a lattice-like rib R, and covers a part of the lattice-like rib R. The body part has: a first region C1 and a second region C2 which are located between a wire W and an inner surface of a side cover 4 and contact the wire W in the state the lock part is locked to the lattice-like rib R and the side cover 4 covers a side part of a seat cushion 1; and an opening region K which exposes a possible surface contacting with the wire W in the lattice-like rib R in this state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
