Abstract:

PURPOSE: To execute work easily and certainly by reinforcing the structure of the ready-set pier or the like of lowered yield strength, with the use of a reinforcing frame manufactured previously on land, and a fitting bracket.

CONSTITUTION: An upper bracket 4, the lower bracket 5 of a vertically 2-divided type, and a reinforcing frame 3 are manufactured in a factory. After that, on water, a pile 21 is retained in the bracket 5 in a loosely fitted state, and the divided surfaces are integrally welded and after that, the bracket 5 is moved to a specified section under water along the pile 21 and is temporarily stopped with a wedge or the like. After that, the frame 3 with the upper bracket 4 fitted loosely at the end section is suspended to be moved down, and an end plate 3c and a bearing plate 5B are bonded with a bolt. After that, the bracket 4 is welded on the pile 21 and a frame horizontal-member 3a and after that, a space S between the bracket 5 and the pile 21 is filled up with grout mortar and they are integrally formed. As a result, without welding in water, the reinforcing work of exact and stable strength can be executed in the short term of construction.
