To provide a structurally-simple reinforcing plate for a folded-plate hanger, which allows the bending of a hanging rod to be surely adjusted with ease.

This reinforcing plate A, in which an eaves-gutter hanger T3 equipped with a lug holding portion T2 is provided at the lower end of the hanging rod T1, is used for the folded-plate hanger T which is fixed by inserting an upper end of the hanging rod T1 into a folded-plate roof Y etc. The reinforcing plate A comprises one plate body 1 for annexing the hanging rod T1, and a fixing implement 2 for fixing the hanging rod T1. In the plate body 1, a mounting hole 11 for inserting the fixing implement 2 is opened; an upper end is provided with an abutting piece 12 which abuts on the backside of the folded-plate roof Y etc.; a horizontal cut portion 13 opened in one lateral direction is formed in an approximately intermediate position; and upside and downside swelling groove portions 14 and 15, which swell in directions opposite to each other, respectively and which communicate upward and downward, are formed above and below the plate body 1 via the horizontal cut portion 13 in such a shape that its width is expanded or narrowed throughout either of the upper and lower ends of the plate body 1.
