PURPOSE: To produce a reinforcing woven fabric by preventing a cut end of weft from becoming an upright state to a plane of the woven fabric, contriving to improve the performance of a composite material.
CONSTITUTION: This reinforcing fabric 1 comprises warp 2 as a reinforcing yarn and weft 3 made into cut ends at selvage parts and the cut ends of the weft 3 are bonded and fixed only with an adhesive 5 at parts crossing the warp 2 or an auxiliary warp 4. A low melting interlacing yarn 6 is inserted to the selvage parts of the woven fabric formed by making the weft 3 into the cut ends at the selvage parts and the selvage parts of the woven fabric are heated to melt the interlacing yarn 6 to fuse and bond the cut edges of the weft 3 to the warp 2 or the auxiliary warp 4 existing at the outermost side.
