To provide a sealing assembly for a shock absorber, which is used in a mechanism which operates under a temperature between -40 to +200 degree centigrade.
The sealing assembly 1,200, is equipped with a sealing ring 10, made of an elastomer having an elastically deformable ring form sealing grip 11, and a ring form reinforcing structure 20. The sealing grip, is adjoined with a first shaft end 13 of the sealing ring, and projects from each root part 12 which tends to a second shaft end 14 which opposes the first shaft end. The reinforcing structure 20, deforms elastically, and as it is manufactured from a further stiffer material than the sealing ring and the sealing grip, and is buried into the sealing ring, and on an opposing side to it, it extends in an axial direction, and when there is no deformation, the sealing grip, demarcates a predetermined radial directional gap G, between itself and a radial directional inner side wall 21.
