Abstract:
The invention provides a relay connector which can easily route multiple connectors to thin components such as FPC and FFC. In the seat body (2) of the relay connector (A), the thin member-side seat body member (21) and the direct connector-side seat body member (22) for connecting with the direct connector are joined to each other. The contact members (3, 4, 5) include: thin member-side contact piece portions (31, 31...), which are inserted from the joint surface side of the thin member-side seat body member and are arranged at intervals in the horizontal direction; connector-side contact piece portions (32, 42, 52), which are inserted from the joint surface side of the direct connector-side seat body member and are arranged at intervals in the row and column direction; and connecting piece portions (33, 43, 53), which are accommodated between the thin member-side seat body member (21) and the direct connector-side seat body member (22).
