Abstract:
To provide a relay optical system constituted so that an image pickup device can be mounted on a microscope without causing any structural interference between the microscope and image pickup device.
This system is composed of a 1st group G1 with negative refracting power and 2nd group G2 with positive refracting power which are arranged in order from an intermediate imaging position I to an projection side and the distance from the final lens surface r8 of the 2nd group G2 to an exit pupil position EXP is set to 30 to 90 mm.
