Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system which can conduct connections among terminals within different local systems via multiple relay servers. SOLUTION: A terminal 11 is connected with a relay server 4 to enable communication with the relay server 4. a terminal 21 is connected with the relay server 5 in the same way to enable communication with the relay server 5. When a connection request from the terminal 11 to the terminal 21 is transmitted to the relay server 4, the transit server 4 transfers the connection request to the relay server 5, and the relay server 5 transfers the transferred connection request to the terminal 21 to enables communication between the terminals. Then, when the terminal 11 transfers data to the relay server 4, the relay server 4 transfers data to the relay server 5, and the relay server 5 transmit it to the terminal 21. According to this arrangement, communication can be done between terminals connected to different relay servers is local systems.
