To smoothly transfer and guide a transfer start end of a recording paper discharged from a paper discharge port of an image forming device into a paper transfer passage without being caught in an allowance gap between a lower guide member and a casing, in a relay unit.

In the relay unit 24 for guiding the recording paper 100 discharged from the paper discharge port 18 of a combined machine 1 to the paper feed port 26 of a finisher 23, a guide plate 60 is arranged at a paper introducing slit 37. A protruding end on the upstream side of the guide plate 60 is arranged to overhang in the outward direction of the casing 30 and a protruding end on a downstream side of the guide plate 60 is arranged to overhang in an inward direction of the casing 30 over an allowance gap 55 between the lower guide member 32 and a first sidewall 38.
