Title:
RELEASE AGENT FOR HARDENED COATING FILM OF EMULSION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS63199779
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a release agent capable of peeling off a hardened coating film of an emulsion in a relatively short time without contaminating a base material, by incorporating a surface active agent into a specified alcohol.

CONSTITUTION: A release agent made by incorporating 0.01W5pts.wt. surface active agent into 100pts.wt. 1W4C alcohol. As a 1W4C alcohol to be used, an alcohol freely miscible with water is desirable from the viewpoint of the final washing process; methyl alcohol is especially preferable in view of the deformation, or dissolution and contamination of a base material, the odor, the cost, the effect of peeling, etc. A suitable surface active agent is an anionic or nonionic one having low surface tension and high penetrating or wetting ability. The surface active agent is used to penetrate a hardened coating film of an emulsion to form a monomolecular film between a base material and the coating film thereby facilitating peeling and also to improve the washability after peeling off the hardened coating film.
