To provide a release agent for vulcanized rubber which simultaneously satisfies an insertion property, a mold releasing property and a cleansing property in molding and is excellent in dimensional stability of a rubber product.

The release agent for vulcanized rubber contains a compound represented by formula (1):R10(A0)m(H) (1). In the formula, R1is a 3-10C aliphatic hydrocarbon group, A0 is a mixed polyoxyalkylene group of a copolymer obtained from ethylene oxide and propylene oxide in a random state, a content of oxyethylene group in the mixed polyoxyalkylene is 55-90 wt.%, and m is 30-180 in the average addition number of moles.
