PURPOSE: To perform motion of a feeder tool not to cause damage to an article, by pivotally connecting the article conveying-directional upper end side of the feeder tool, rotating said side end in two turns with a driving gear, pivotally mounting a swingable arm member to an intermediate part of the feeder tool and using said driving gear and said arm member.

CONSTITUTION: If an article 2 to be released reaches a point (a) on a conveying route, a driving gear 6 is operated by a signal of a detecting means, and the con sequently driving rotation of a drive rotary member 7, about the shaft core of a drive shaft 6A an its interlocking swinging motion of an arm member 10, about the shaft core of a vertical pivotal shaft 9, can produce resultant motion to move the end part of a feeder tool 3 successively in the order of A, B, C...X from a position X as shown in the drawing. Accordingly, the feeding surface 3a of the feeder tool 3 can be moved in a condition about parallel to the article conveying direction till the end part reaches the positions A, B, C, and then the article conveying directional lower side of the feeding surface 3a precedes moving to the article release direction, to press out the article to chute 4.
