PURPOSE: To obtain the relief stained ornamental body consisting of a simple constitution, and also, having a cubic effect by constituting it so that a rugged pattern is performed to the surface of a resin plate, and an outline of the rugged pattern can be observed visually by a reflected light and shade and shadow of an edge part of the rugged pattern.

CONSTITUTION: A resin plate 3 of a stained style is attached to a through-hole 2 of a temple 1 being a member to be ornamented. This through-hole 2 is formed in the end part of the front side of the temple 1. The resin plate 3 is molded by an epoxy resin, an acryl resin, a urethane resin, etc., colored in various colors, and is provided with feeling of cloisonne. Also, to the surface of this resin plate 3, a rugged pattern 4 is performed. The rugged pattern 4 is formed on the surface 31 of the reverse side of the resin plate 3, and the surface 32 of the surface side becomes a flat face. The rugged pattern 4 is constituted so that an outline of the rugged pattern can be observed visually by a reflected light and shade and shadow of its edge part 5. That is, by the reflected light or the contrast of shade and shadow of the edge part 5 of the rugged pattern 4, the outline of the rugged pattern 4 seems to float cubically through the resin plate 3. The edge part 5 is vertical to the surface of the resin plate 5, and its depth is selected suitably in accordance with the pattern.
