Title:
RELIGIOUS RITUAL IMPLEMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP08126572
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enhance the effectiveness of religious rites by causing the air to enter from the external side of a cylinder to the surface of a heat resistant plate via a lower air inlet for generating a strong flame.

CONSTITUTION: The air enters from the external side of a cylinder via a lower air inlet 3, and is supplied to the surface of a heat resistant plate via the fine air holes thereof. Also, the air flows outside from an open section 2 above the plate and the upper open section of the cylinder 1, thereby ensuring a very efficient air flow in the cylinder 1. When combustibles on the plate are ignited, a strong flame is generated, due to the circulating air. Furthermore, each of eight sacred swords 8 has a plurality of rings 8a at one end, and the swords 8 are held for suppressing the flame from the upper side thereof with the ring 8a at each end. According to this construction, the flame can be prevented from becoming higher than required. In this case, a plurality of rings 8a collide with each other and resonate for generating a special sound. The effectiveness of religious rites, therefore, is all the more enhanced by the sound.
