Title:
REMAINING BOBBIN THREAD DETECTING DEVICE OF SEWING MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3128743
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enhance reliability of the device for detecting the remaining amount of a bobbin thread, and to eliminate an error caused by a reverse rotation of a bobbin.
CONSTITUTION: On an end face of a bobbin thread bobbin, two annular optical patterns are arranged like a concentric circle, and through an opening part of a bobbin case, a motion of the pattern is detected by an optical sensor, and a two-phase rotating signal is obtained. By phases of two signals, the direction of a rotation is discriminated, and from the speed of real revolution in the forward rotational direction, bobbin thread consumption M is obtained, the consumption, winding length L of the bobbin inputted first, and a threshold ΔL are decided, and when the remaining amount is small, an alarm is issued.
