Abstract:
To provide a remains storage body for storing remains as they are without finely pulverizing the remains in an indoor of a house for holding a memorial service in which remains (ashes) are stored in a house of a bereaved family of a deceased, as a method considered as a choice when a bereaved family desires to hold a memorial service near a house of a bereaved family, but raising a tomb newly is hesitated.SOLUTION: There is provided a remains storage body 1 which is formed of a ceramic sintered body and which is used for holding a memorial service near or inside of a house of a bereaved family, in which remains after performing cremation are stored and which is installed in a house. The remains storage body 1 comprises: a hollow part 2 for storing remains; and a ventilation path 3 (the ventilation path 3 is closed by glaze) which is communicated to an external part from the hollow part 2 (a three-dimensional shape of the hollow part 2 has a volume at which a gap is formed between the remains and the hollow part 2 when the remains are stored).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
