Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a remedy for hypofunctional exhaustion, having high safety, capable of being continuously administreted and effective in inhibiting the progress of especially senile diseases and ameliorating the diseases by the continuous use or administration by using phytic acid and its salt as active component.

CONSTITUTION: Phytic acid and its salt are used as an active component of the objective remedy. Phytic acids are widely distributed in plants in the form of calcium salt, magnesium salt and, sometimes, potassium salt. For example, rice bran contains as much as 9.5-14.5% of phytic acid. Phytic acid has enzyme- inhibiting action which can be easily developed by oral administration. Since the active component is effective in solid state as well as liquid state, it can be easily applied by oral administration.
