Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remodeling open drum curling device capable of coping with both a Japanese-style can and a Western-style can.SOLUTION: In these remodeling open drum curling devices 100 and 101, a first curl roller 60 for curling the cutting edge 1a of a drum can 1 in outer winding, slidingly moves in response to an inner diameter of the drum can 1. Thus, curling can be executed without adjusting a position of a Western-style can and a Japanese-style can different in the inner diameter. These remodeling open drum curling devices 100 and 101 fix the lower end of the drum can 1 by a rockable pedestal 10. Thus, the drum can 1 can absorb dislocation of respective parts caused by a dimensional difference in the drum can 1 by properly rocking in curling processing time. Thus, curling processing can be smoothly executed regardless of the Western-style can and the Japanese-style can.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
