The engine driving unit 20 (engine controllers 21 to 23) forming the control unit of an engine remote control is formed so that the radio command signal having substantially same contents as the wire command signal received by a wire 18 from a control device 11 may be directly or indirectly received by radio. The equipment loaded in the vessel can be remotely controlled by radio from anywhere within the vessel based on the radio command signal for which a radio transmission is performed by using a second control device 70 which is capable of transmitting the radio command signal by radio and can be carried by a crew and via the repeater 50 and the engine driving unit 20 arranged within the vessel. Thus, at the arrangement location of the repeater 50 and the surroundings, the equipment loaded in the vessel can be easily and quickly remotely controlled with radio by remaining the attitude which is suitable for the work as it is.
