Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fitting/removal remote control structure for a connector, which is capable of easily changing operating force required to slide sliders for fitting/removing the connector without disassembling a cage when the connector is fitted/removed. SOLUTION: A pair of sliders 5 are respectively fixed at one end to the upper and lower sides of a sliding plate 10. The sliding plate 10 is slidable along both side guide plates 6A integrally constituted with a gear box 6. The sliding plate 10 is fixed to a synthetic resin change nut 11 and the change nut 11 is fitted to a metal ball screw 12. The ball screw 12 is rotatably supported at or near one end to a bracket 13 fixed into the gear box 6 and rotatably supported at the other end to the guide plate 6A, a bevel gear 14 being fixed to one end. The bevel gear 14 is engaged with a bevel gear 15 fixed to a driving shaft 16.
