Abstract:
PURPOSE: To transmit an operation instruction by an efficient and highly reliable method by generating a message as the set to a series of variable length bit by a generation means and restoring a first message from the set of the bit by a decoding circuit. CONSTITUTION: The generation means for generating the message is composed of a message generator 11, a keyboard 12, a display 13 and a transmission register 14. The generator 11 scans the keyboard 12 and stores the message corresponding to one or a series of operated keys in the requester 14. The message stored in the register 14 is read to an encoding circuit 15, converted into two-phase signals TD, modulated in a modulation circuit 16 and transmitted as infrared ray signals IR. A receiver 2 receives the IR, sends them through a demodulation circuit 21 and a decoding circuit 22 to a reception register 23 and controls a device to be operated through a but. By the constitution, a long message is prevented from being incompletely received and translated into a short message and reliability if improved.
