To provide a remote control system for a bipedal robot which makes a remote control device handy, and intuitionally recognizes the state of the bipedal robot when operating.
This control system for remote control to the bipedal robot is provided with the remote control device connected to the bipedal robot through a communication network, a pair of a right and a left mechanical rotation mechanism to provide power to respectively move a right and a left leg parts of the bipedal robot, and a robot remote control means to transmit data equivalent to moving quantity of each of the right and the left mechanical rotation mechanisms to the bipedal robot as control data for the bipedal robot. The bipedal robot is provided with a control data receiving means to receive the control data, and a leg action control means to process the control data to make advancing motion or retreating motion.
