PURPOSE: To control plural electronic devices at the same time by providing a pulse extracting circuit 30 between a basic signal generating means comprising an oscillator generating a basic carrier signal and a frequency division circuit and a modulation means to form various operating carrier signals.
CONSTITUTION: A gated oscillator 21 includes an oscillation output on/off control section 21A and an oscillation section 21B. The oscillated output is inputted to a 1/12 frequency division circuit 22, where the signal is frequency-divided. The frequency division output is the basic carrier signal and inputted to a pulse extraction circuit 30 in response to an electronic device being a control variable, where a pulse is extracted. An output after the pulse extraction is processed is inputted to a gate circuit 25 as a modulation means, the code signal is modulated and its modulation output is inputted to a drive circuit 26. The drive circuit 26 drives a light emitting diode 27 irradiating an infrared ray. When any switch on a switch board 24 is on, the code signal generator 23 generates the code signal and the oscillator 21 starts the oscillation.
