In the remote control type drain plug device with an operating section operating the operation of the valve body 1, an open-close mechanism opening and closing the valve body 1 and a release wire 2 connecting the operating section and the open-close mechanism and being composed of an outer tube and an inner wire, ventilation sections for ventilating mutual both ends through the inside of the outer tube are installed to the connecting sections of the outer tube and either one or both of the open-close mechanism or the operating section. A sealing mechanism limiting the mounting and demounting of the fixing member 4 fixing the open-close mechanism is secured.
