To provide a remote control type drain valve device which facilitates the repair/maintenance of an operation part, has a constant positional relation between a switch member and an operating part body regardless of the thickness of the peripheral edge for mounting an operation part, prevents construction errors in constructing the operation part or causes a construction error if any to be noticed easily and has a favorable design effect in the operation part.
The remote control type drain valve device includes a drain port 1, a valve member 2 opening and closing the drain port 1 and an operation part operated to open and close the drain port 1. The operation part includes a cylindrical operating part body 3 disposed in a tank body S or in the vicinity of the tank body, a switch member 4 operated through direct contact by a user, a switch support tool 5 detachably fitted into the operating part body from the tank body or the surface side in the vicinity of the tank body for supporting and securing the switch member to the operating part body, and a supporting/securing member 6 secured to the operating part body 3 for securing the switch support tool 5 by holding the tool with the operating part body 3.
