PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control type faucet opener having advantages, in which a rate, in which the effective capacity of the lower section of a drain inlet in various water-related equipments, is reduced, structure and operation are also simplified and maintenance and inspection are also facilitated, at low cost.
SOLUTION: In the remote control type faucet opener, a lifting guide member 3c having a downward indented taper-shaped sliding-contacting section 3c1 and a water-passing section 3c2 is mounted to the lower section of a lifting-lowering lever 3a having the faucet cover 3b of a drain inlet 1a at a top section, a pushing member 6 forward moved and retreated by remote control is arranged sideways to the downwards indented taper-shaped sliding-contacting section 3c1 of the lifting guide member 3c while the front end of the pushing member 6 is faced oppositely, the front end of the pushing member 6 is abutted and slid to the downwards indented taper-shaped sliding-contacting section 3c, of the lifting guide member 3c by the forward operation of the pushing member 6, and the lifting-lowering lever 3a and the faucet cover 3b are elevated through the lifting guide member 3c by the sliding action of the pushing member 6 and the drain inlet 1a is opened. A locking mechanism L for holding the opening is installed at that time.
