Distance measuring devices for measuring a distance L between the spot light body 1 and the remote control 6 are provided in the spot light body 1 and the remote control 6, respectively, in such a manner as to transmit or receive supersonic waves and infrared rays and determine the distance L based on a time required for the transmission and receiving. There is provided a distance data transmitter for transmitting the distance L measured by the distance measuring devices to the remote control 6. Consequently, the shorter the distance L, the smaller the output of the remote control signal from the remote control 6.
