The remote-controlled top toy consists of the top toy A and a remote controller unit 3 for remotely controlling the motion mode of the top toy A. A rotation shaft body 12 of the top toy A is rotatably journaled to a top toy body 1 so that the top toy A is rotated as interlocks with a motor 11. The direction and speed of forward/backward rotation of the motor 11 is controlled by a control signal generated from the remote controller unit 3, so that the rotation of the rotation shaft body 12 of the top toy A can be repeatedly controlled by the remote controller unit 3.
