PURPOSE: To input an indication point and position information on an indicating person with simple constitution.
CONSTITUTION: On a display screen, a marker is put in each determined frame and its image is picked up by a camera part 11; and a marker extracting process part 12 extracts only the marker and a coordinate position arithmetic process part 13 detects the coordinates of the indication point and the position of the indicating person from the display screen. When the indicating person makes an indication, an IR pulse pattern generation part 15 generates a specific IR pulse with the output of an indication detection part 14 and an IR optical transmission and reception part 16 sends it out to a display-side remote controller reception part.
