To solve a problem in a conventional remote controller wherein an air conditioner can be started even by transmitting the past setting as it is without confirming a display, causing an operation with a wrong temperature mode, and causing wasteful power consumption.
When an user operates the remote controller for setting the air conditioner, the temperature and humidity are measured and discriminated by an appropriate value discriminating section 103, and the appropriate value discriminating section 103 reminds the user that the setting is improper by generating vibration from a vibration output control section 203, when the value to be set is over a specific range of the optimum set value as a target to perform a power saving operation by the air conditioner.
